Stunlock Studios recently announced that the survival game V Rising will be released next month on the PlayStation consoles. If someone pre-orders the game before its launch, they will have early access five days before its scheduled launch. PS 5 Release Date Of V Rising Has Been Been Announced
The action-role-playing survival game V Rising has finally got a release date and now players know when they have to take up the role of a hungry vampire. The official trailer of the game which was released by Sony discloses that it will be launched on PlayStation 5 on 11th June, 2024. The news of V Rising’s launch was also revealed on the game’s official Twitter account.

Gamers can also find three distinct editions of this game on the PlayStation Store because an official V Rising page has appeared on the Store since its release date announcement.
Based on this, the standard edition of the game, priced at $39.99 / €39.99, does not contain any new and extraordinary features and includes only the base game. However, choose the second edition, the Legacy of Castlevania, priced at $59.99 / €59.99. The players will be able to opt for the Castlevania-themed features along with the base game, which will enhance their overall gaming experience.
Furthermore, the third edition of the game is called the Complete Edition and is priced at $99.99 / €99.99. This version of the game has everything from the previous two editions and will have some more cosmetics compared to the Legacy of Castlevania edition. So, gamers who opt for the second or third edition while pre-ordering the game will have five-day early access to V Rising before its actual launch on 11 June.
In addition to this, it has also been revealed that though V Rising was announced to be released on PS5, PS5 Slim, later it may be upgraded for PS5 Pro, PS6 it did not have a simultaneous release date for PC and Sony’s consoles.
Caveats To V Rising’s Release
In this action RPG game, the players devise strategies to expand their territory and castle by controlling a vampire. Due to this vampire setting of the game, the collaboration with Castlevania makes perfect sense because Castlevania is also a vampire-themed game and contains some significant gothic elements.
This collaboration will also add some new gameplay elements and different cosmetics, such as Alucard’s outfits or unique furniture similar to Dracula’s castle. Furthermore, the V Rising game will also include the first main character of the Castlevania series, Silmon Belmont.
Despite some new features and cosmetics, this time, the vampire-themed game will not have cross-play between PC and PS5. This means that the players will not be able to play between PlayStation 5 and PC, as stated by the developer, who states that this feature seems pretty unlikely to happen. However, some people have stated that playing this game on a PC will have certain advantages because PCs have a Modding community.
This community helps the V Rising game by offering gameplay modifications and new features. Also, since the game has a private hosting capacity, players can customize their experience according to their preferences. However, this feature is not available for PlayStation 5 players.
