Horizon Forbidden West Release Date
Horizon Forbidden West is a third-person, action, role-playing game by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It was initially released on PlayStation 5 and 6 in 2022. It is a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, and Nixes Software Online Community Specialists confirmed vaguely that the game will be released on PCs in 2024. The official news confirms that the game will be available on the PC on 21 March 2024.

The blog post calls this release a “complete edition” for PC. Horizon Forbidden West includes the expansion of Burning Shores, where the journey of the protagonist, Aloy, continues. Additionally, the players will get a chance to be in those treacherous volcano islands after they complete the main quest.
The PC version explicitly includes numerous unique features, such as customizable graphics and various technologies to enhance a player’s performance, including Nvidia DLSs 3 upscaling and frame generation. The game will also have an unlocked frame rate. The higher FPS allows PC players to get high-quality graphics without slowing the game.
However, the other feature that stood out was the opportunity for everyone with ultra-wide monitors to provide an immersive experience to players. This feature allows users to make the most of the spectacular landscapes by supporting ultra-wide (21:9) and super ultra-wide (32:9) monitors with 48:9 resolutions. This feature also supports a triple-monitor setup for players to enjoy.
This version of Horizon Forbidden West also supports controllers, specifically DualSense controllers. The DualSense controller’s haptic feedback allows players to immerse themselves in the combat.
This journey promises to take players to the futuristic world of Horizon, where they will discover a variety of environments detailed most perfectly, says the blog post. Moreover, the game ensures players will get breathtaking landscapes featuring sunken cities, impressive mountain ranges, and lush forests. They will also get to fight ravening machines with the help of customizable keyboards and mouse controls.

As revealed earlier by Nixxes Software, Horizon Forbidden West is coming in March, but you can pre-order the upcoming game on Steam or the Epic Games Stores. The pre-order kit contains bonus game items, such as:
