Kayne West confirmed a new tentative release date for Vultures 2

Kanye West’s Vulture 2 has finally received a new release date amid multiple previous delays. Just like the delays and hurdles the fans are facing with Batman 2, Mario 2 and Minecraft Live Action Movie. Here are all the details about the upcoming second studio.

Release Date of Vultures 2

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s joint album series, Vultures 2, is set to drop on May 3, 2024. Kanye confirmed it during his recent Justin LaBoy’s The Download podcast appearance. This eagerly anticipated sophomore effort follows up Volume 1, initially slated for a March 8 release. The first volume of Vultures was released on February 9 on the digital platform. Additionally, the final installment of their ongoing album trilogy was initially scheduled for April 5, although no specific release date has been revealed for this third album.

Where Will it Release?

The availability of “Vultures 2” on streaming services remains uncertain. Kanye West has hinted that he might sell the album exclusively on his website, possibly for a limited time, before eventually releasing it on streaming platforms.

This plan could result from previous issues faced with Vultures 1. The first volume briefly disappeared from Apple Music due to a dispute with distribution company FUGA. West later suggested that streaming services may have attempted to limit their first-week numbers.

Vultures 2: What is it About?

Volume 2 of Vultures is expected to feature an album cover paying homage to Ty Dolla $ ign’s brother, Jabreal Muhammad, also known as Big TC. Muhammad, who Ty and Kanye West believe is innocent, is currently serving a life sentence for a murder conviction.

Further details about Vultures 2 are currently scarce. There’s a rumor that the album could feature a lineup of big-name artists. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign teased fans with a series of listening events in Miami and Las Vegas last year, where they showed many tracks featuring prominent artists. This hints that Vultures 2 could be another star-studded affair!

Have the Songs of Volume 2 Been Released Already?

In March, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign surprised fans by releasing several songs from the project. Instead of streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, the tracks were shared on TikTok and Instagram.

As several fan accounts noted, tracks like River, featuring Young Thug and Leon Bridges, and the Backstreet Boys-sampling Everybody were available to stream on social media platforms. In addition to these two songs, other tracks from Vultures 2 were also available through social media platforms. These included Worship, Promotion featuring Future, the James Blake-assisted Slide, and Field Trip, rumored to feature Playboi Carti, Kodak Black, Lil Durk, and Don Toliver.

According to a Twitter post from the account, the songs from Vultures 2 that were released recently were leaked by a fan group. Unfortunately, the audio quality of these leaks was poor, with distorted sound.

The account shared, “The audios are distorted and sound bad. A Vultures producer contacted me today to clarify this. We hope to see a change in the next few hours, or we will have to wait a little longer for the album to be available.”
