Jujutsu Kaisen Will Return for Season 3: Mappa

Jujutsu Kaisen Will Return for Season 3: Mappa

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 has been announced, and fans cannot wait for what will come next. The much-anticipated Season 3 was confirmed through a small preview clip after Season 2’s finale, the Shibuya Incident arc. Although only a little has been confirmed regarding the following season, here’s everything to know for now.

When Can Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Be Released?

Fans can anticipate the official release of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 in 2025. As there’s yet to be a full-length trailer for Season 3, and considering the animation studio MAPPA’s current focus on projects like Lazarus and the Chainsaw Man Movie, both set for 2024, it’s unlikely that Season 3 will premiere this year. The release timeline for Season 1’s last episode in March 2021 and Season 2’s first episode in July 2023 suggests a two-year gap between seasons. However, it is not guaranteed that season 3 will also air after two years, so wait until the official announcement.

Teaser Trailer

There is no release date currently, but we have the supernatural action anime season 3’s teaser trailer. The teaser for its renewal announcement was released following the finale of season 2. It hints at the adaptation of the manga’s Culling Game arc.

Since we do not have a release window, it is too early to expect a full trailer. The previous seasons of Jujutsu Kaisen released full-length official trailers three months before the premiere date, so something similar can be expected. However, nothing can be said with certainty, as unexpected circumstances can sometimes cause delays.

Potential Voice Cast

The voice cast actors have yet to be confirmed for the third installment. They are expected to stay almost the same, except for a few. Here’s who might not be getting enough screen time this season:

Firstly, it’s important to note that Gojo Satoru will likely have reduced screen time due to his imprisonment in the Prison Realm. Additionally, Nobara Kugisaki’s condition following her encounter with Mahito remains uncertain.

Moreover, the Shibuya Incident resulted in the departure of several beloved supporting characters, with Kento Nanami’s loss being particularly impactful.

The plot for season 3 will pick up after the Shibuya Incident arc. In the Season 2 finale, Kamo Noritoshi (fake Geto) and Mahito tried to seal away Gojo, but they failed.

Furthermore, fake Geto awakens non-sorcerers as part of a scheme to provoke strife between sorcerers and non-sorcerers. As a result, Yuji receives a death sentence, Yuta is designated as Yuji’s executioner, and Gojo is banished from Jujutsu society.

This is the latest information available regarding Season 3. Rest assured, we will promptly update you with new information as soon as we have it!
