A data mine from Bandai Namco’s website suggests an upcoming release date of October 1, 2024. According to X user and YouTuber @SrgioM3, and further shared by X user @DbsHype, the website lists an October 1st release date for the game. This indicates that Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, part of the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series, could be available in less than five months

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is seemingly coming out just like the previous games in the series. It is known in the West as Budokai Tenkaichi and has traditionally been released in Japan in October. North American release dates have typically followed shortly after. Since this Dragon Ball game is adopting the “Sparking!” name worldwide for the first time, which was previously exclusive to Japan, the game will likely adhere to this release date tradition and be available globally in October.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, the latest entry in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, was officially announced in December of last year. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

Sparking Zero aims to outdo BT3’s large roster, providing 164 playable characters in this 3D fighting game, showcasing characters from throughout Dragon Ball’s extensive history.
