As we saw in the previous season, River took a massive step by leaking important documents reflecting illegal actions under Ingrid Tearney’s leadership. After this discovery, River quickly contacted his grandfather to discuss the matter further. But things escalated because the grandfather tried his best to eliminate the evidence. This event tarnished their relationship. It is the first time that River will go against David’s wishes. It will be interesting to watch how this big decision unfolds.
Taking advantage of the situation, Taverner was quick to replace Tearney. The upcoming batch of episodes will reveal how River’s decision to leak the documents will affect others in the vicinity.
