Pokémon GO Fest 2022 has started giving players the ultimate Challenge of catching plenty of rare and shiny Pokémon. Among the fest is the two-day-long event, the Collection Challenge, the players can participate in. These Challenges are suitable for your progress in the game as they guarantee an encounter with some rare Pokémon when completed.
What are the Collection Challenges in Pokémon GO Fest?
The two-day-long event consists of four challenges, designed in correspondence with the four different Habitat of the event. These Habitats each last for an hour and then circulate back a second time before the end of the event on Saturday, June 4, 2022. Each Habitat spawns a specific set of Pokémon that the players must catch to complete the Challenge.
This collection challenge is only available to ticket holders on Saturday and Sunday, June 4 and June 5. While the event will be only available to event ticket holders, some of the content featured in this event is available to all players.
The ticket to this event is priced at $14.99, which the players can either purchase for themselves or buy for other players as a gift. On the first day of the Challenge, the players will be able to encounter and catch the Pokémon that is featured in the respect Habitat hours. These Pokémon are available even for those players who don’t have the Pokémon Go Fest 2022 ticket. However, if you want to complete all the four Collection Challenges, you must purchase a ticket for the event.

City Collection Challenge Tasks
This is the first Habitat that the players have to undergo. Within this, the player has to complete the following tasks:
- Catch a Trash Cloak Burmy
- Catch an Alolan Grimer
- Catch a Pidove
- Catch a Gothita
- Catch a Magnemite
- Catch a Trubbish
- Catch a Litten
- Catch a Hitmonchan
- Catch a Baltoy
The rewards for completing these tasks are Stardust, one Incense, and a Galarian Weezing encounter.
GO Fest 2022: Plains Collection Challenge Task
The challenges the players have to undergo within the Plains Habitat are as follows:
- Catch a Litleo
- Catch a Shelmet
- Catch a Larvitar
- Catch a Numel
- Catch a Buizel
- Catch a Trapinch
- Catch a Drilbur
- Catch a Girafarig
- Catch a Patrat
Once the players complete all the challenges, they will get a Stardust, an Incense, and an Axew encounter as a reward.
Rainforest Collection Challenge Tasks
The tasks each player has to complete to get the reward within this Challenge are:
- Catch a Turtwig
- Catch a Shroomish
- Catch a Venipede
- Catch a Seedot
- Catch a Karrablast
- Catch a Mudkip
- Catch a Rowlett
- Catch a Slakoth
- Catch a Chimchar
The reward for completing these challenges in 2022 are Stardust, one Incense, and a Pancham encounter.
GO Fest 2022: Tundra Collection Challenge Tasks
With the Tundra habitat, the players have to complete the following tasks:
- Catch a Swinub
- Catch a Meditite
- Catch a Piplup
- Catch an Omanyte
- Catch a Cubchoo
- Catch a Wailmer
- Catch a Spheal
- Catch a Popplio
- Catch a Wingull
The reward for completing these challenges are Stardust, one Incense, and a Galarian Darumaka encounter.
How to complete the Collection Challenge in Pokémon Go Fest 2022
You must have a ticket to the event to complete all four challenges. There is no way you will be able to take part and meet these challenges for free. Apart from that, it is also necessary that you are well-trained in catching Pokémons and fighting duels. While it is true that in respective habitat hours, the featured Pokémon of individual habits are present in abundance, catching Pokémons is still challenging, which makes the game fun.
