Blizzard has released Overwatch 2 New Characters list, and here is everything you need to know about it.

There is a spectacular lineup of Overwatch 2 characters. The sequel features three new characters and several of the original title’s characters. It introduces one new character in each of the three hero categories; support, tank and DNS. All three of them have incredible abilities, and their ultimate powers will surely blow your mind! Overwatch 2 New Characters

Blizzard is introducing three exciting new heroes in Overwatch 2. They are mentioned down below.

Sojourn

Sojourn is Overwatch 2’s first revealed new character. She is a Damage hero with cybernetic upgrades. Mentioned below is everything you need to know about her.

Her primary weapon is the Railgun. It fires in two different modes. The first one is rapid-firing projectiles. These projectiles generate energy upon hitting the target. The damage dealt by this attack is 9 per shot. The second mode, called secondary fire, features a high-impact single shot that consumes energy. This type of attack yields anywhere between 30-130 damage.

Sojourn has the ability to Power Slide. It is essentially a slide move that cancels into a high jump.

Her second ability is Disruptor Shot. She launches a shot of energy that slows down enemies and yields damage to them over time.

Her ultimate ability is Overclock. It auto-charges her Railgun’s energy for a short period of time, and the charged shots yield considerable damage to enemies.

As a damage hero, Sojourn can be used to yield maximum damage to enemies in minimum time. However, this hero is mainly recommended for players with the good aim as this will make using her primary weapon easier.

Junker Queen 

Junker Queen is the self-appointed Queen of Junkertown. She is tough and independent and will surely give her enemies a tough time. As a tank hero, she uses her abilities to apply health-draining wounds to enemies. Here’s everything you need to know about her.

Her primary weapon is Scattergun which is a shotgun with a short range. Its ammo is six, and the reload time is 1.5 seconds.

Junker Queen’s passive ability is Adrenaline Rush. It allows her to heal and regain her strength over time.

Additionally, she also has a Jagged Blade which deals quick melee damage to enemies. She can also throw it at foes. The blade hits and sticks to them until the Queen reactivates it, which pulls the wounded enemy towards her.

Her second ability is Commanding Shout. It increased her max health by 200 while simultaneously increasing nearby allies’ health by 100. Moreover, it also grants the Queen a 30% movement speed buff.

The Queen’s third ability is Carnage. She can swing her axe in front of her and deal considerable dame to enemies.

Her ultimate ability is Rampage which causes her to charge forward while swinging her axe in a circle and wounding enemies.

Kiriko

Blizzard will also introduce a new support hero in Overwatch 2. Her name is Kiriko, and she has some powerful defensive and offensive abilities!

Kiriko’s primary fire is Healing Ofuda. She sends paper talismans that are infused with healing powers toward allies. They automatically track nearby allies even when they move around.

Her secondary fire is Kunai. She launches kunai projectiles at enemies and yields considerable damage. These projectiles are extremely fast!

Her first ability is Swift Step which gives her teleportation powers! She can quickly teleport to friends.

Kiriko’s second ability is Protection Suzu. It makes her resistant to damage for a short period of time. This power also applies to her allies. Furthermore, it can cleanse stuns and debuffs.

Her third ability is Wall Climb. As the name suggests, she has the power to climb walls and reach high-ground locations quickly.

Kiriko’s ultimate ability is Kitsune Rush. She creates a path of spirit energy that grants her allies and her special buffs. The buffs include increased movement, attack speed, and reload. Additionally, it also reduces ability cooldowns.

Unlike Sojourn and Junker Queen, Kiriko will not be immediately playable for all players. You will need the premium battle pass for Season 1, which costs $10 to unlock her instantly. However, those that purchase the Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack will automatically get the premium battle pass and will not have to buy it separately. Moreover, returning players from the original title will get instant access to her. As for other players, they will have to wait until they reach tier 55 on the battle pass.
