In September 2024, Hurricane Helene hit and caused widespread destruction in North Carolina. The natural calamity caused numerous fatalities and injured many people across the region. Also, it left behind destroyed homes, flooded streets, and devastated communities. By the weather officials, Helene has been named the 8th storm, 5th hurricane, and 2nd big hurricane of the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season. On 22nd September 2024, it started in the western Caribbean Sea. Further, the hurricane turned the lives of many people upside down and the pictures from different areas show how bad things are and how the residents are recovering from this. So, let’s take a look at some of the wrenching photos below that remind us how destructive and unpredictable nature can be.
