Pokémon Crimson and Crimson show you the tera crystallization for the first time

At Pokémon Presents today, The Pokémon Company also showed a new trailer for Pokémon Crimson and Pokémon Crimson. The focus was on the region, locomotion and the great outdoors. The video wants to make the new Paldea region, its people and Pokémon tasty for you. Almost like a video for a tourist region.

The video also shows the tera crystallizations, which you will then be introduced to in more detail in Pokémon Presents. Fans had already speculated about such a new development mechanic in advance, the reason for this was a small crystal in the Japanese logo of the games.

When a Pokémon teracrystallizes, it appears above its Head similar to a crown of a tera crystal and his whole body sparkles. It is said that the Tera Crystal energy emanating from the ground in Paldea is related to the phenomenon.

Tera Crystallization makes Pokémon shiny like jewels. All Paldea region Pokémon are said to be able to crystallize, which of course makes them stronger. Some also change their type as a result. Tera Raids await you too, where you can find Pokemon with rare Tera types.

Each Pokemon has a hidden Tera type that is dormant until the Pokemon teracrystallizes. Then it takes on its Tera type, which can differ between the same Pokémon. For example, there are Eevee with Tera-Type Normal and other Eevee with Tera-Type Water. There are 18 types in total.

Once per battle, a teracrystallization can be triggered, the condition then remains until the end of the fight. A Teracrystal Orb is required for crystallization, which then loses its effect and can only be used again after being charged. This requires visiting a Pokémon Center or touching crystals in the region.

The Legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon, which serve as means of transportation by land, sea and air, will be introduced to you again . Your partners can change their form accordingly. Of course, you can also expect regional forms such as Felino in his Paldea form.

Pokémon Crimson and Crimson appear on 18. November 2022 worldwide for Nintendo Switch and can already be pre-orderedat Amazon, for example. Did the new trailer convince you?
