Type-Moon Studio BB has the “2020 Trailer” too Fate/EXTRA Record released. This game is a remake of Fate/EXTRA. For which platforms, that is still not known today. The project was announced in July 2020 “for current generation platforms”. Recently it was quiet for a year and a half about the remake.
New soundtrack and new combat system
The protagonist Hakuno Kishinami can now speak in the remake. There is a male and female voice as well as the option of doing without the soundtrack altogether. What is already noticeable in the material shown is the completely renewed combat system.
Instead of the rock-paper-scissors system from the original, there is a deck-building system as known from card games. The combat commands appear randomly, the player has to make his choice cleverly and make the best of it each time. New monsters are also promised.
