The F1 23 game is coming to our consoles soon to bring back the high-octane thrills and excitement of Formula 1 racing! The previous instalment of F1 22 received major applause for its realistic gameplay and spectacular graphics. And fans are highly hopeful that the new instalment will be even better, taking the F1 franchise to a new level!
Although we don’t know much about the game, EA Sports recently teased fans with the side profile of an F1 car featured in the upcoming match. Its carbon fibre body and magnificent design have set the F1 racing world on fire!
When is the F1 23 game releasing? Has EA Sports revealed the release date? What new features will the game have? Find out below!
F1 2023 Game Release Date
The Formula 1 game franchise developer, Codemasters, has a reliable release window and almost always releases new F1 games during the summer. Based on last year’s F1 22 release, we can speculate that the new F1 23 game will launch in late June or early July.
EA Sports has already teased the release of F1 2023. They posted a teaser image of the car with the caption “New season, fresh start” on their Twitter page. The development seems to be in full swing, and the F1 23 game will come to our consoles soon!
It is safe to assume that the upcoming game will launch on new generation consoles, the PS5 and Xbox Series XIS. However, it may also release on older-gen consoles like Xbox One! Codemasters do not confirm the news. However, Xbox’s official game page lists the upcoming F1 23 game for Xbox One and Xbox Series XIS. Unfortunately, many players are disappointed by this news as making the game playable on Xbox One may mean it will have fewer new features than we hoped! So, the game may not be as revolutionary as fans expected!
F1 23 Price
Although the prices aren’t confirmed as of now, we expect the standard version of the game to cost approximately $59.99. The premium version, i.e. the Champions Edition, will cost $10 more and be priced at $69.99. This version of the game will likely come with three days of early access, allowing players to play the game before anybody else. Moreover, it will also include bonus content. The bonus content of last year’s game had the F1 Life Starter Pack, Miami-Themed content, F1 22 New Era Content, 18,000 PitCoins, and new My Team icons. We will probably get similar bonus content in the F1 23 game.
F1 23 Gameplay
The F1 series aims to give players a realistic driving experience of Formula 1 racing! The franchise has been religiously releasing new games for the past 13 years, with the first instalment coming out in 2000! F1 23, the fourteenth instalment, will feature the same basic gameplay as all its predecessors.
It will likely include the Braking Point mode, excluded in the 22 games that disappointed fans. We also expect the driving controls to be much better than in the previous games. Moreover, we hope the multiplayer mode is smoother in the F1 23 game!
As for the tracks, they will likely be the same ones featured in the F1 2023 calendar. The list includes,
- Abu Dhabi: Yas Marina Circuit
- Australia, Melbourne: Albert Park
- Austria: Red Bull Ring
- Baku: Baku City Circuit
- Singapore: Marina Bay Street Circuit
- Italy: Monza Circuit
- US: Circuit of the Americas, Austin
- Japan: Suzuka International Racing Course
- Spain: Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya, Montmelo
- Britain: Silverstone Circuit
- Belgium: Circuit de Spa Francorchamps, Stavelot
- Bahrain: Bahrain International Circuit
- Saudi Arabia: Jeddah Corniche Circuit

- Zandvoort: Circuit Zandvoort
- Mexico: Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez
- Monaco: Circuit de Monaco
- Miami: Miami International Autodrome
- Las Vegas: Las Vegas Street Circuit
- Hungary: Hungaroring
We also expect circuits such as Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps), Austria ( Red Bull Ring), the United States (Circuit of The Americas), and many more to include the sprint races introduced in the previous instalment in F1 23.
List of drivers in F1 23 Game
EA Sports has partnered up with Max Verstappen, who has won the F1 World Championship 2 times! The Dutch driver will wear the logo of the company on his helmet! So, he may be the central figure of the upcoming game’s marketing campaign.
As for the other drivers available in F1 23, they will probably be the same as those participating in the Formula 1 racing for 2023. This includes Charles Leclerc, Esteban Ocon, Alex Albon, Lance Stroll, Yuki Tsunoda, and many more.
