As for now, the plot from the beginning of the season revolves around the protagonists mentioned in the retro anime series title – the Duke and his maid. The anime creators describe it as follows:

The Duke of Death, Bocchan, was cursed as a little boy. He could kill anyone he touched. Despite being in the lap of luxury at his grand mansion, he had a hard time falling and staying in love.

But the noble boy learns how to overcome his loneliness. He is always accompanied by his beautiful, flirty maid, Alice, and an old Butler Rob. The latter took care of him since he was just a little boy.

Despite befriending a witch and rekindling his distant relationship with old family members, Bocchan has a hard time figuring out how to break the curse. He eventually falls in love with Alice. Embroiled in agony and frustrated by being unable to touch his lover, The Duke of Death and his flirtatious maid must find a way to end the curse. Watch how the pair’s romance unfolds with the ever-looming threat of the deadly curse.
